The Halloween Party Drink – The Vampire Kiss Martini

I’ve concocted a lethally delicious cocktail for your “featured” party drink.  It’s eerily easy and is sure to get your guests in the mood to pose at your Halloween photo booth.  For a fun idea, set up a martini bar with options such as the Black Cat Martini, the Dark and Spooky, the Dark Chocolate Martini, and the Pumpkin Martini.

The Vampire Kiss Martini

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ ounces vodka, chilled
  • 1 ½ ounces champagne or prosecco
  • ¾ ounce Chambord (raspberry liqueur)
  • Red sugar for rim of martini glass
Directions
  • Rim the glass with red sugar.
  • Pour vodka and half of the Chambord in a martini glass.
  • Top with champagne or prosecco.
  • Pour the rest of the Chambord over the back of a spoon to make it float.

Beware the Photo Booth!

My dog has a stellar collection of Halloween costumes, but his favorite disguise is Count Dracula – guaranteed to scare almost no one because he is so cute.  This year, we’ve decided to have a Halloween hat party and ask our furry guests to wear their favorite spooky hat.  We know that some dogs do not like to wear clothes and costumes, but we hope that a hat will be just the trick for outfitting everyone.  Click on the picture to purchase.

This party theme is perfect for social media-worthy photos of guests and humans alike, especially if you collect some fun photo booth props and wicked cute hats for posing.  Here are some ideas for stocking your party photo booth that will make your guests scream with delight!  And don’t forget prizes for the best-dressed goblins and witches – a bag of our spooky pumpkin treats for the pups and Halloween candy for the humans should enchant the winners.  Click on the picture to purchase.

To add mystery to the atmosphere of your photo booth, turn up the volume for a spookactular playlist that includes classics like Thriller and Monster Mash.
